Okay guys, I've seen a lot of people doing contests as of late, so I figured I'd do one. XD

As with the contests I've been seeing lately, this one is a character design contest.

Here’s how the contest is gonna work!

Contest Objective:
-Design a character based on the below inscription. Can be any style, from pixel art, to paint, to drawing, do photoshop or whatever. Though you don’t HAVE to color your picture, it is HIGHLY encouraged, and will give you a MUCH better chance to win.
-The contest will start November 5th and will end December 5th

Contest Rules:
-Character MUST be Anthro, preferably in the style of a typical Zyearthling as far as the body design goes. The character is from a tribe in Africa (as seen below) so Zyearthling clothing is not mandatory, but you can use it.
-Character MUST be submitted by December 5th before midnight
- Please make your own design. I dislike templates and character makers.
-Do not copy others work, and do not copy other designs.

Okay, on to the character!

Character Description:
-Name: Zapada Oscuro
-Species: Black Panther
-Place of Birth: Jungles of Africa, in a small, slash and burn tribe (More information about a “slash and burn” tribes here: [link] This particular slash and burn tribe are nomads, as the article mentions. They are a part of a much larger tribe that breaks apart when a tribe gets too large. Zapada’s tribe was new and very small.
-Character History: Zapada was born into a small slash and burn tribe. When he was 13, the tribe came across a human tribe and both tribes started fighting. By the end of the war, both tribes were decimated, and Zapada was separated from the few survivors left in his tribe. Matthew Azure happened to find him by accident and took him to live on Zyearth, by Zapada’s request. Zapada joined the Defenders at an extremely young age and quickly made his way up the ranks in the army. However, he was discharged from the army and sent to prison after an incident involving a young woman. After many more years, he was entered into a rehab program and was sponsored by Robert Terrill, and eventually let into the Defenders once more. He currently has a rank of Silver Guardian.
-Notes to make: Zapada was once a part of Rokbar’s army as an assassin and attempted to murder Arden Azure. During this attempt, Robert took five shots from a Beretta M92F at point blank range fired by Zapada. However, Robert took him on as a sponsor because Zapada was deeply sorry for what he had done.
Visual notes: Zapada is jet black and his body is covered in Lexi tattoos that glow when he uses his Gem.

Notes to make about the contest: Bonus points!
-If you draw your picture with Zapada’s Lexi Tattoos alight (If you have any questions about how they look, note me please)
-Zapada is a very serious character, so keep that in mind.
-I dislike overused Anime style art. I don’t mind SOME anime style, but overusing it is a turn off for me.
